While no AI has officially "passed" the Turing Test by academic consensus, systems developed by entities like OpenAI and DeepMind have shown that the line between programmed responses and what one perceives as "genuine interaction" is becoming ever more blurred.

Importantly, the environmental cost of training large AI models is under scrutiny. Can AI become a true steward of the environment while being energy-intensive? Or more importantly, since the AI trend is irreversible, how can we mitigate its impact on the environment?

On the geopolitical stage, AI is becoming a strategic asset. In healthcare, as we exemplified a few times in previous editions, AI is a game-changer. Companies like Tempus are using AI to personalize cancer treatments. However, questions about data privacy and the ethics of AI-guided medical decisions remain hotly debated.
