What is Artificial Intelligence?
At its core, Artificial Intelligence is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems. These processes include learning (acquiring information and rules for using the information), reasoning (using rules to reach approximate or definite conclusions), and self-correction.

The concept of AI is not new – it has been a subject of myths and stories for centuries. However, the field as we know it began in the mid-20th century. The term "Artificial Intelligence" was first coined by John McCarthy in 1956, at a conference at Dartmouth College, where the discipline was born.
